Dream Basket

The Dream Basket!I realized after the fact that using this as a junk bin and calling it the dream basket might be telling about my career aspirations… Anyway, this is a little basket I dreamed up late one night and named accordingly. It features a swiveling lid just like those fancy trashcans but fits on your desk so you can put all your future fixes (broken junk you MIGHT fix someday for your kids) in it and see it but not see it. The swiveling lid requires support to print since it features two highly optimized printed fidget bearings as swivel points, but otherwise it pretty light on support and prints reliably. SizingI initially printed mine so short that the swivel lid is basically useless but decided to share this much taller version.If anyone has experience creating parametric models and wouldn't mind showing me how to do that with this, I'd be grateful. I'd like to make this modifiable withing having to manage a hole bunch of wholes.
