how to print:
base is printed flat, clamp printed on it's side.
assembly:
assembled with 4mm flathead, at least, 20mm long screws, mounted to table with m6 bolts. dremel held with two m4 machine screws (and i recommend wing nuts).
total hardware:
-m6 bolts: 4 units
-m6 nuts either normal or wing(which i recommend): 4 units
-m4 bolts and nuts: 2 units
-4mm flathead wood screws: 4 units
recommended material:
petg - is is springier
probably nylon could work, mine printer is open, so no nylon for me.
abs and pla are kinda brittle - recommendn't
why even bother?
base is square, so it can be unbolted and rotated, i think it can be useful. and since it is bolted and not screwed it can be removed entirely.
also model is very simple which is not the case for all models on topic here for some reason.
𝟑.𝟓.𝟐𝟔 𝐮𝐩𝐝:
-made slots for bolt heads in base, uploaded as base v2.
-made 0.4 or 0.2 tolerances for holes.
-made ridge slots on base wider by 0.4
-updated .blend .
now i really wont waste any
