Remix of : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2811144
- I have a slightly different set of wood/mild steel drills to that which the original was made for, including an M12, so i needed a different hole selection but I liked the case shape and thread action.
- The body and cap of mine are different lengths but otherwise the same diameter and thread. They should be relatively interchangeable aside from the cap being a little short if you put mine on the original case, and bits may fall out and rattle around inside the cap if you use the original cap on my case.
- Photos:
Left - original case
Right - this Thing
- Works for me:
0.4mm nozzle, 0.32mm layers, 0.8mm perimeters, 10% triangle infill, supports, PLA
- Note: I used variable layer thickness; 0.32 in general and 0.12mm layers on the bevel at bottom of cap and case, and on the threads, however neither supports nor thin layers are really necessary , and can probably be omitted entirely, particualrly if you use 0.2mm or smalle
