I had to get a new key for a rusty old drill chuck, however the one I got from the shop did not fit, as the peg diameter was slightly too large. I figured that I could just grind the peg to size with a rasp/file by turning the key in another drill, but I could not fit the key in the drill chuck due to the key handles being crimped in place. I decided to make a fitting to mount the key in a drill. Slide one half onto each handle of the key and use a zip tie to hold in place, then insert into the drill chuck.

I have no idea if anyone else might find this useful, but I just wanted to illustrate an idea I was able to quickly implement and solve a problem I had. I guess this could be a starting point for a drill lathe or wire twister?
