Drill Press Depth Stop

This is a combination of parts that will allow you to add a depth stop to a drill press that wasn't designed for one. This was designed specifically for my Reliant DD-50, but should be somewhat universal in nature. The lower section will fit a 55mm chuck, and the upper section is more or less universal, although I did incorporate a section that mounts around a stud in mine. That section can be removed for different drills. I've included the Fusion 360 file in addition to the STLs so that you can easily modify the design to fit your needs.

The rest of the assembly can be put together with about 9" of 3/8" threaded rod, 2 3/8 lock nuts, 3 3/8 washers, and 2 3/8 standard nuts. The upper piece was glued to the drill press. As long as you don't gorilla-fist the drill, it should hold up fine.
