Drinking Fountain Lock

During the pandemic, it was necessary to lock the spout part of the drinking fountains while leaving the water bottle filling intact. So I designed this hinged cover to use a metal hinge and a padlock.

I designed the locking cover to us a #8 machine screw and nut as a hinge because that's what we had on hand. The hinge hold has a diameter of 4.5mm, so anything smaller than that with at least a 25mm length should also work

The opening of the cover without any of the collar adapters is 43mm in diameter. I have provided collars for 35mm and 28mm to adapt for other fountains. Feel free to design other sizes if needed.

Inside the cover is 60mm at it's widest and that portion is 82mm tall.
