The DrIYBox is a fully 3d printable solution to store hygroscopic filaments while printing.
Most fdm filaments are hygroscopic, but some such as Nylon, Polycarbonate, and PVA absorb water so fast that keeping them dry through the length of a print can be challenging and is essential to the print success.
The DrIYBox allows you to store a roll of filament along with a few bags of silica gel and feed the filament directly from the box to your extruder.
A hybrid petg/tpu cap can be unscrewed to keep an eye on the amount of filament left in the box.
You can keep the box on the floor, mount it on my modular spool holder (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3118885), or make your own mount.
