Drone Quadcopter Emergency Retrieval Hook

So one day i was flying around a "sick bando" and one of my quads got stuck way up like 50ft on a concrete crossmember support. No poles or ladders on hand, I took my old reliable QAV180 and tied a metal hook to the bottom of it, after a few passes, finally hooked it and retrieved the drone. Woohoo! So i made a D ring type thing a while back and modified it to work as a fold out drone hook. for those emergencies when you cant get your drone. Might need to incorporate a little weight into it in the future, but one of these hooks should help you.


the idea is that when you land or take off the hook is folded flat, and then when flying it self levels facing downward so you can hook your prey.
