This project is a simple Dry Box solution designed for the printer bed. It works with any type of 3D printer, especially open-frame models. The idea is to use joints with acrylic, polycarbonate, or any other type of sheet that can handle relatively high temperatures. You can easily adjust the length of the side and top panels to fit your setup. In the current version, the box is designed with 2mm sheets for the Bambu Lab A1, measuring 25cm x 25cm x 15cm. With this size, you can dry up to two filament spools at the same time. The small gaps at the top of the box are intentional, allowing air and moisture to escape. If you prefer smaller vents, you can scale up the pieces a little.Recommended bed temperatures for drying filaments:PLA: 40–55 °C, for 4–6 hoursPETG: 55–70 °C, for 4–6 hoursFor better monitoring, you can place a hygrometer inside the box (or attach it to the sides) to keep track of temperature and humidity conditions. This project was inspired by this corner joint model →Corn
