Filament Drybox Pass-Through
Does not require a pneumatic coupler
Accepts a 6mm OD PTFE or other plastic tube.
Minimum filament and time required to print (I print it in about 15 minutes on my Ender 3 V2)
This is a pass-through for a DIY filament dry box. It accepts a 6mm OD ptfe tube. Doesn't have to be ptfe, almost any tubing, hose, or line will work if its the right size. PTFE may be preferable if you intend on running it in an enclosure and your health conscious, but again not necessary.
The 6mm OD tubing presses in until it will go no further and is sufficiently held in place.
Some boxes are brittle so it is sometimes best to melt the right size hole to fit the threaded piece through. A sharp knife or razor blade works just fine unless its a cheap or old box. Some will practically shatter.
I'll add more to this later when I have time. Pretty straight forward and simple design though. I was going to do a full guide on how I build my dry boxes but there are hund
