Liked the design of the screw type filament taps and wanted to use it for a spool holder. I highly suggest printing this with a very high infill or PLA+ or PETG. I printed the first one with PLA and it snapped at the screw part when weighted with 4 spools. Second attempt I ran a bead of silicone on the inside and pressed and tightened it to the bin. Let it set and now it seems to be no problem holding 4 spools.
Tree supports came cleanly off. I printed it in 0.8 line width for speed and quite warm to promote a strong build
You will need the screw part from the original, I sized the cutout to fit a 608 bearing if you have a rod supported by bearings (such as long board bearings).
Currently I am using a 1/2 piece of stainless tubing to support the spools and it works great.
