I would print with the top face down to make the jigsaw pieces fit snugly as well as to ensure the filet on the bottom has a good finish, as that's what most will see if you've got the shelf above eye level like I do.

The shelf is designed to fit shelving where:
- the pegs are 5mm in diameter
- the horizontal distance between both pegs is 240mm
- the vertical distance between peg layers is 32.75mm
