I used 1 of thoose 5a step down to emulate a dual 18650 so i can vape of a 12 v power supply.
Setup is made for Smoant Taggert that apparently dosent care if batteries are installed as long as it gets 8.4 volts.
I vape at 30 w so havent testet it higher, dc-dc step down might need some cooling.
Should work off car power too.
