Since I was not able to find a dual extrusion carriage that met my ideas, I decided to create my own.
The carriage holds two E3Dv6 bowden hotends. i decided to use a single 40mm fan to cool them. the second hotend can be moved vertically for about 1.6mm for nozzle levelling. To do so, remove the front fan and loosen the Center screw a bit. if the screw is fastened, the hotent will not move anymore.
It is designed to use the RJ4JP-01-08 drylin Bearings and a radial fan for material cooling.
If you choose not to use the cable chain adapter, you can put in the "filling", which will guarantee the stability.
when printing you will Need Supports for the "Extruder Mount front" and "cable chain Adapter".
What you will Need:
4x RJ4JP-01-08 Drylin Bearing
7x M3x25mm (for carriage)
1x M3x30mm (for carriage)
1xM325mm (for extruder mount)
9x M3 nut
4x M3x20mm (for front fan)
2x M4x20 (for rear fan)
1x fan 40x6mm
1x radial fan 40mm (the stock one from Anet A8)
of course 2x e3dv6 hote
