I was going to print Ducky the Lop Eared Bunny for my kid, but when I saw how big it was, I decided it would make a good piggy bank. So I pulled it into Meshmixer and hollowed it out. And like all good piggy banks, there is no way to get the coins out without breaking it. My little boy loves putting coins in it. When and if he ever fills it up, I plan to take a hole saw to the bottom.
The coin slot is 30mm because that easily fits all American coins that I had on hand. It should work for most foreign coins, but I do not know if anyone uses a bigger coin than that.
I print in PLA because my printer is in a family area. On my ANET A8 this was a 56 hour print. Inland Yellow 1.75mm PLA. .1mm layer, .4mm nozzle, 200deg, 5% infill, and yes you will need supports because of the chin and the right ear.
Confession: Some little boy clicked the power strip off during print, so I actually printed in two parts and glued them together. That same little boy thought the headless hal
