The Duco ventilation remote originally comes with a Niko frame, which didn't integrate well with the Gira system 55 modular system. To address this, I created a new baseplate and cover to fit within my dual E2-style frame.MountingCarefully remove the original black Niko baseplate from the remote.Place the remote into the new baseplate, ensuring a secure fit.Mount the baseplate securely on the wall at the desired location.Position the Gira frame over the mounted baseplate.Press-fit the cover part firmly in place to complete the installation. The Gira frame is clamped between the base plate and the lid.The baseplate is designed to fit on round European back boxes and for easy battery replacement, I added a hole in the back of it.Printing informationThe parts were printed with a layer height of 0.2 with 100% infill. The parts were oriented facing down, eliminating the need for additional supports.
