Duo Plant Tag

The Duo Plant Tag is designed to be used in two ways; it can be staked into the soil or hung using the included hangers or string. I made this design primarily for tagging tomato plants that I grow from seed. I stake the plant label into the soil of the seed starting tray when planting the seeds and when I transplant the plant into the garden, I take the tag out of the tray and hang it on the tomato cage for easy identification.
The tag is sized to use standard 12mm self-adhesive labels that are commonly used by home label machines. (https://www.ptouchdirect.com/brother-ptouch-label-printers.html) You can also write on the tag if you prefer not to use self-adhesive labels. The labels have a narrow spike to minimize the soil disturbance when inserting/removing them from plant containers.
The design also includes a small clip and a large clip for hanging the plant tag.
