Duplo Train Car

Train car that's compatible with Duplos, and Duplo train block cars. My kids like building long trains, and needed some more cars, so here we are. The bottom is flat, which simplified the model, and you don't usually want to connect pieces to the bottom anyway. The wheels are strong and roll about as well as the official ones. They're made up of a strong square peg with diamond peg holes in it, then circular brushings that clip on permanently for a strong connection, printed up perpendicular to the bed for a smooth roll. I'm pleased with the design here - the wheels have a slight cone to the inner whole, which gives the clips on the brushings room to bend out during assembly. Tested to print roll well with PLA, PLA Matte, and PETG. AssemblyUse tweezers or flush cutters to remove the small sacrificial bridge between the pins in the brushings. Place a wheel on the brushing, so that the “neck” of the wheel faces up, and the flat outside of the brushing will hold the wheel
