The Dyson V8 and other series vacuum units have a fairly poor bin lid clip
that's prone to breaking. Here is a 3D printed retainer that slides over the battery
housing and effectively retains the bin lid on position. To release the bin lid when emptying
dirt from the unit this retainer slides back to allow lid to open.
No modifications are required to be done to the Dyson machine.
