This is a bracket for mounting a 2.5" drive (HDD or SSD) in an E-mu E6400 sampler, leaving room for a IDE to SATA convertor to be attached to the rear of the drive.
It's probably suitable for other samplers in the E4 range with internal drive bays where the drive is attached via the bottom screw holes rather than those on the side of the drive.
The photographs show the first version installed. The V2 model is more "streamlined" but is otherwise functionally identical.
