This is a simple lamp socket extender for E26 designed to raise the position of a lampshade when the bulb sits too high and is visible above the shade.
Many lamps use a “socket sleeve / screw cover” style part where the lampshade ring normally rests. When using taller bulbs (or certain LED shapes), the shade may not hide the bulb properly. This adapter fits onto the socket and extends the resting surface so the shade sits higher, helping cover more of the bulb for a cleaner look.
How it works
Remove the lampshade.
Slide/install the extender onto the socket (where the shade normally sits).
Put the lampshade back in place.
Tighten/secure as your lamp normally would.
✅ Works with: E26 smooth sleeve / friction-fit shade sockets
❌ Does NOT work with: UNO threaded shade sockets
Important Safety Notes (PLEASE READ)
⚠️ This part should only be used with LED bulbs.
Do NOT use with incandescent or halogen bulbs — they can generate enough heat to soften plastic, deform the part, or create a f
