I found that the E3D V6 extruder works much better than the China-supplied "Mk8" for my Prusa i3.
So here is a mout that you can use. It works well with the printed carriage, like this one: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:586636
You'll need two screws, M3x35mm, washers, and nuts. I recommend printig everythig in ABS and actually using glue between the carriage and the mount. Mount the screws while the glue is still setting, and screw them tight, to get a good bond.
The parts have internal structure for strenght, but I recommend 20% infill or more to prevent bending from the tension of the screws.
The short triangle strut on the mount is on the bottom!
If you use a horizontal carriage with a center hole, you may try the vertical mount.
Mount your E3D V6 so the hoted-block points away from the carriage, and the fan is on the right (so it will not blow hot air on the carriage).
Ah... that's it, I guess!
And if you do print this, please share a photo, ok?
