E46 (Cable) Gas Pedal Mount

If your BMW gas (drive by cable) pedal mount breaks off, and you don't want to rip all your carpeting out to weld in a new mount. this may be the solution for you.This should fit for any E46/36/39 drive by cable pedals (only been tested on an E46 328ci)This piece is meant to be put in the area where the previous mount was. recessed into the carpeting and touching the floor pan. The recess in the bottom of the part is meant for a bolt that has a 8.2mm diameter and 3mm deep head, with a 4.8mm threaded section. Although these dimensions can be altered to fit whatever hardware you may have.Rotate the piece so the two holes for the screw are facing the bottom.You are meant to drill the two small holes into the floor pan. and bolt it into place from underneath the car. (use a little bit of some rubber sealant to make sure it is weather proof)The OEM pedal has two tabs on either side of the lock tab that has to be shaved flat on the inside of the mounting part.
