Important: The battery lock is scaled to 1000%. Before print you got to reduce the scale to 10% in you slicer software.
I did not like the battery lock of my Eachine Aurora 90 drone (strap). So I decided to make a new one that besides locking the battery, would help level the drone when it was being armed.
In my tests, I printed using PLA and I really liked the result.
In the version of 2mm wide each lock weighs 0.5 gram, that is, two locks will add a maximum of 1 gram to your drone.
I also made a 3mm wide version that will be more robust, but a bit harder to lock and remove.
The lock was made to serve on my Turnigy Bolt 500mah 2S battery that is 3cm wide and 1cm high. If the battery is less the latch will get loose, so I do not recommend it.
I did not have any more serious crashes to see the resistance of the latch in bigger impacts, but, it lasted well for my flights in the house.
Two locks are enough to hold the battery tight in place.
