I recently discovered the Blitzwolf SHP-6 with the Tasmota firmware as the perfect replacement for my 433 MHz home automation system.
Unfortunately flashing the SHP-6 is quite a tedious process as the entire unit needs to be taken apart and requires soldering.
So I created this pogo plug programming adapter that can be inserted directly into the plug with the top cover removed, and can be screwed into place so the screw and the spacer also remain securely in place.
The pogo plug is designed to interface with a ftdi ttl-232r-3v3 (or similar) cable, and has room for an integrated DC / DC converter to convert the 5V from the USB to 3v3 supply voltage for the ESP.
I used a specific type of DC/DC converter, as I had It laying around, any 5V -> 3.3V converter / LDO that is capable of handling 250mA should do.
In the meantime I already used this adapter to program 9 additional units, and this went like a breeze.
