Easy Clean Linear Drain Basket/Strainer/Filter

The original drain basket/strainer/filter for our shower linear drain was extremely difficult to clean. This design makes cleaning easier by removing the bar across the top and making the basket/filter open for easy access. This design is best printed using a filament material that is capable of withstanding hot water exposure such as PET-G. PLA IS NOT RECOMMENDED. The hinge is print-in-place if the printer/filament parameters are good. Supports are needed for the rim, latch and the support pins. (See pictures). The dimension of the strainer rim is 47mm (1-7/8”) and the strainer basket is 40mm (1-9/16”) in diameter.
