Easy-Print Bird Feeder

Winter is coming in the Northern Hemisphere, and finding food will become tough for the birds once the ground is covered with snow. With this simple 3D-printed bird feeder, you can give them a hand – just print it, fill it with seeds, and hang it outside!

The feeder snaps together without glue or extra hardware. The only place you might want a couple of drops of glue is for fixing the window frames. The windows themselves can be cut out of a plastic bottle or even from an old lunchbox container – a cutting template is included in the project.

Please note that in the file names I indicated how many of these parts you will need to print.

No supports are required for printing. You can use any filament you have on hand – PLA, PETG, ABS, whatever works for you. Print with the infill and quality settings you prefer.

I recommend printing the bottom of the feeder without solid top and bottom layers, using 60% infill – this will create a mesh-like base that allows rainwater to drain out if
