I stopped using my Echo Dot for a while because I didn’t want it to listen constantly.Recently, I've decided to repurpose it as a regular speaker — but with the microphone disabled. The problem: once the mic is turned off, the bright red LED ring stays on permanently. To solve that, I designed this simple LED Ring Cover that hides the light without affecting sound quality. The ring fits securely at the bottom and effectively blocks the red LED. The updated project now includes versions for both the large Echo and the small Echo Dot, allowing you to block that light completely without affecting the sound quality or the device's stability.Dual Compatibility: Now includes separate print profiles for the large Echo (4th Gen) and the smaller Echo Dot (4th & 5th Gen).Minimalist design, quick to print, and easy to remove if needed. Perfect for anyone who wants to keep their Echo Dot muted but still use it as a speaker.
