We had our Echo Show 15 sitting upright on a table in our dining room, and it kept feeling like it was going to tip over if someone accidentally bumped it. So rather than shell out £90 for a VESA stand, we created this vertical stand that uses the slide mounting bracket features on the back of the device, rather than the VESA mount points (because I didn't have any screws for it handy). We also just wanted it to stand vertically, and have no need to tilt it, therefore we didn't design any viewing angle or tilting adjustment, so this may not work for everyone. The first build plate has the pieces to make the back plate assembly (glue the slide rails into the slots according to the assembly guide photo). The second build plate has the base of the stand (glue the back plate assembly from above to this stand, again refer to the photos). One all glued, just slide the echo onto the stand (note you can test the glued back plate assembly before you attach it to the base of the stand).
