Problem Statement: Despite the increasing importance of hands-on learning experiences in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education, students often face challenges in understanding complex atmospheric concepts. Traditional classroom methods may not provide sufficient engagement or practical insights into the principles of temperature, humidity, and air pressure. Additionally, constructing and launching weather balloons can be logistically challenging and may pose safety concerns, limiting the accessibility of this valuable educational tool. Proposed Solution: Our solution aims to address these challenges by providing an innovative and accessible learning experience for students. We propose the development of an educational kit that allows students to effortlessly construct and launch a weather balloon equipped with a Raspberry Pi and sensors to measure temperature, humidity, and air pressure. By connecting the Raspberry Pi to a main computer for data analysis, students can gain practical insights into atmospheric concepts and engage in hands-on exploration of scientific principles.
