Edge Tracing Tool

Tracing tool to place the tip of a Sharpie marker at the tangent/contact point of a traced object. This prevents the offset of the radius of the marker from adding to the outline profile. The purpose of this tool is to help make more accurate traces of objects for cutting out foam storage inserts or for dimensioning profiles for 3d printed/laser cut part holders. The tool is 2" tall, and can therefore capture any top down geometry up to 2" in height. Seen in the photos where a mouse was traced, the 2-D top down profile was captured even with the complex curves of the object. Used a .48" diameter sharpie that I had on hand, will need to be altered for other drawing utensils.
