Effiyeh Starship

I needed an impressive starship to illustrate a story in Retrozine, and came up with this. It's meant to be “beheld” face on; but if you print a small one you can spin it like a top for extra-added fun value. I printed this one in Burnt Titanium (one of my favorite filaments) and Metallic Silver. The silver didn't come out very metallic, so I coated it with a layer of Tamiya X-22 Clear which helped a lot. Some day I might find a way to light it up as in the Blender render that was used in the zine. Enjoy!
