I like my Eheim internal filters but the outlet nozzle caused a lot of current and some "scour" in the sand as it was just a plain hole. I removed one of the outlets, measured it carefully, and designed a spray bar replacement. After version 6, I even got it to fit well!
You can configure the bar length, nozzle size, count, and direction up/down/sideways, so just ask if you want advice. I've created a few examples and the constants are at the top of the file for you to comment in/out.
I'm using with an Eheim 2010 filter and the new Pickup 160, which is just the same thing with a new name. If you have a different model, you can always just print the bit that goes into the filter by dropping the part into the bed in your slicer to do a quick test print.
Mirror in your slicer to get it to point the other way.
If you're careful, you can reuse the o-ring on the original part, but I ordered new 22mmx1mm silicone o-rings.
I printed from PETG and washed the parts before using in
