From the various reviews etc. it was a matter of “when”, not “if” it broke, but the string on my EIBOS Easdry broke and pinged out of the latch. So here is the replacement handle I made. It needs an M3x16 machine screw. Cap, button, pan or cheese head should work. I would check that the screw turns freely in the printed handle before trying to install it. I have modeled in clearance (3.2mm) for the screw but if it doesn't slide through the hole easily them run a 3mm drill through. Once fully seated in the handle there should be 4mm of screw protruding.The screw will need to cut the threads into the latch whist installing but if you over tighten it you will strip the threads and the handle won't hold.I started the screw using the hole in the handle is a guide to keep the threads straight. See picture for the orientation of the handle. Once started I backed it out, removed the handle and ran it all the way through until the silver sticker on the back of the latch bulged out.I the
