This is a spool to keep your EL wires tidied up. Since I work a lot with EL wires I always had the problem that they end up in a mess while transporting them. This spool is designed to keep them tidy and safe. The diameter is large enough not to bend the EL wires too much. The design is made to be as light as possible and only use little material while still being sturdy enough to protect the EL wire while transport.
The spool has clips for the cable inside and clips for the EL wire all around. It is designed for normal EL wire diameters of 2.3mm to 2.6mm. If other diameters are needed just leave me a comment, should be easy to adjust the clips.
