Electrical outlet spacers

Design ConceptThis electrical outlet spacer is designed to ensure that outlets and switches are level with the wall surface, avoiding recessed placement due to varying depths in electrical boxes. They are printed in pairs to break apart for single boxes or leave attached and print two for double gang boxes. To change the thickness for your particular application, just scale the z axis. Thy are currently 1/8" (0.125") thick.PurposeThe spacers are useful in home renovations or installations where drywall or tiling might cause outlets to sit too far into the box. They ensure a level finish align with covers.Printing AdviceI printed them in Hyper PLA 100% infill, but you may choose to use a sturdy material such as ABS or PETG for heat resistance.Assembly InstructionsSimply insert the spacer between the outlet and the mounting surface. Use the existing screws to secure the outlets ensuring they are firmly held in place.
