A nice housing for the common $3 thermometer found on eBay which can be screwed on the top of your Ikea Lack table or any other table. Two types here ... a 15 degree mount and a 45 degree mount. Photos show the 45 degree mount.The thermometer simply has a nice interference fit to the housing, making it easy for your to remove the thermometer to replace the batteries.

The angle for the highest LCD contrast depends how tall you are and your set-up. I found the 45 degree one to be pretty good on the top of the three storey Ikea Lack table.

Underneath you can coil up the excess temperature sensor cable. Just drill a hole in the Lack table and dangle the sensor down an inch or so. Secure the housing to the top using two screws from your screw collection.

For best aesthetic appearance, prior to printing, you might want to rotate the housing with the front facing down on the heat-bed and use supports for the side tabs. Enjoy!
