Elegoo Neptune 2 side spool mount

Designed this tiny adapter for mounting the stock spool holder on the side of the Elegoo Neptune 2 in a 45 degree angle to the frame.

First design i have made for a 3D printer ever.. So be nice ;)

I have printed one for myself with reasonable succes with the following parameters:
Print temperature: 200
Bed temperature: 50
Layer height: 0.2mm
Infill: 20%
Supports on(i don't know if this is really needed as i haven't tried without)


I have some overhang issues on the Elegoo Neptune 2 so i oriented the part so that the overhangs were towards the extruder side of the printer(where the cooling fan is blowing air on the part). This helped with the overhangs.

The FilamentPM spools are 199,5-200mm in diameter and that leaves about 10-12mm clearance between the spool and the table the printer is placed on.


I am always interested in improving so any comments / advice / suggestions is appreciated :)
