Emergency Axe

The project was to design an emergency product i choose to design a fire axe, my emergency axe was combining the use of emergency axe and raising the alarm to signal others to the danger. the case would be attached to the alarm system of the building removing the axe from its case would raise the alarm the idea was to reduce the amount of actions that must be taken in an emergency situation, the axe head had a sharp piercing point at the back with a slight chamfer that could be used to pry open a door of any kind it could also be used to make an initial piercing in a material and then use the bearded side of the axe head to carve away at that penetration point. the case of the axe is in traditional emergency red with fluorescent green trim to be easily found in low light environments.
