So, tomorrow we loose power for several hours as our electrical service is upgraded, and that got me thinking about what light sources we had handy. I remembered I had a couple of Light & Motion rechargeable bike headlights (VIS500 and Urban500) and thought they might fit easily onto the top of a 2l pop bottle for some handy emergency lanterns.Yes, I could have used duct tape. But I have a 3D printer. So this.I modeled it quickly (the OpenSCAD files are attached) and it's rough, it needs supports to print, and it would likely leak if you tipped it over (so don't do that). I printed it with PETG, since the headlights can get hot, so some of the overhangs are stringy. But it works, and we won't be completely in the dark tomorrow. Cold yes, dark no.Enjoy.
