A custom case for a mechanical keyboard, designed to be 3d printed. I designed this in the spirit of the popular "Alice" layout after seeing the Prime_E by holtenc or primekb.com.
I wanted to recreate the layout of my Zlant, but in an "ergo" form factor.
I named it Emma after my wife(not her real name, just a nickname) because she was my inspiration and was very encouraging in my quest to try something new.
The case has a 6degree angle to it.
This was my first real cad design/work(besides the macropad in my profile) so sorry if it sucks or you hate it :)
Files detail: Full case, no splitting(if your 3d printer is big enough)
Left/Right side with rod hole: This is how I had the case printed. The rod holes were cut out to give the case more rigidity. Rods were placed in the holes with a small amount of epoxy and then the halves were joined with epoxy.
Left/Right side with no rod holes: Left and right sides with out the rod holes if you wanted to just affix them together
