EMT Bearing

I was looking for a way to get the spool off from my printer. A chunk of EMT conduit was about the right shape, just that it was a bit on the small side. The spool would catch on it.

So I made this bearing to let it spin more freely. The two ends need to be attached somehow, I used a 3d pen.

I also ended up putting a piece of tape around the outside to help keep the plastic spools from walking off from it.

It took 2 prints of the rods to fill the bearing. It does not go from the outside of the spool to the other. I intentionally made it shorter so that it would fit inside the cardboard spools that have the lip around the edge.
