Ender 3 Creality Filament Guide Protector

UPDATE: Version 11 is now ready. Yes, can you imagine, 11 versions for something so simple. Not that the others didn't work, but I was getting a squeaky noise due to the sharp angle that the filament having to navigate going into the hole. So now, I have an arch guide to get the filament to a better angle. This should be the one. Please keep me informed if it needs more work.

I really don't understand why Creality would allow the filament to touch the Z-axis screw and allow the oils and debris to get onto the filament. I tried a few other prints and just wasn't happy. I hope others find my design an improvement over Creality's miss engineering.

Putting it on your printer can be an issues. There are 2 screws and 4 (FOUR) split washers. two on top and 2 under the metal support. It can be challenging to have the split washers under the support lined up to get the screws in. Wish you all the best getting it together.
