This fan cover for the Ender 3 prevents dust and particles being sucked in the hot end cooling fan. Instead, it gets its cool air from the top of the extruder assembly.
It will reduce airflow somewhat, but is designed to minimized this effect.
Cover clicks on, no assembly required.
