After having printed one almost a year ago, I had finally worn through it enough to cause under extrusion problems. So, instead of printing another one that would cause possible drag and will wear out again, I had thought to redesign it. I added a wheel or bearing to it instead and now it just rolls its way around, hopefully reducing drag and wear on the parts and filament. I have a bolt designed to go with it, if you just desire to have it all printed, but this can easily be replaced with a metal bolt, and either tapping out threads into the PLA or attaching a nut to the end, just recall not to over tighten as the wheel/bearing still needs to move.
Only point of possible failure would be the printed bolt. Would recommend either greasing it or applying a lubricant to it every now and then, just like what you should probably do to your Z axis threaded rod from time to time.
PS: The printed bolt will actually fit into the hole without nut or anything, as the hole is threaded.
