Ender 3 Hour Meter Holder

Have you ever wondered how many hours your printer has spent doing work? Well, now YOU can track that with this handy hour meter holder. It's wired to the hotend heater, so it'll only track when you're printing or have the hotend spooled up.

Run the wires down to the hotend thermister ports on the mainboard, and now the hour meter will tick whenever the hotend is... hot.

Make sure you've got an hour meter that's rated for DC. The one in the picture is Rated 8-80VAC/DC, so it's happy with the 24v from the heater. The small power leech has no noticeable effect on hotend performance.

I made this and installed this hour meter because I was interested in seeing just how much time my printer spends printing and tracking when to do routine maintenance: Nozzle swap, deep clean, lubrication, etc. Plus, now we can keep high scores of printer hours :)
