Does your stock bowden coupling let your tube go mid print?
Just use this replacement until you can buy a metal extruder with a better coupling, or screw couplings altogether.
Just slightly sharpen the end of your bowden tube (~1mm) screw an M4 standard nut on and attach the top clamp to the base with the nut and bowden tube in the groove.
Voila, no more coupling needed.
! Print the base sideways so the bending force of the spring is working with the layers and not trying to separate them. I found that layers parallel to the bowden axis bend less over time than ones perpendicular to it
Cover can be printed in any orientation, but needs support.
.stp files are included so you can make changes at will.
