This system was made for the my Ender 3 V2. This will pan the camera over time while recording an Octoprint time lapse video. Out of all the awesome Octolapses i have seen, they have always been at a stationary position. I don't know how a panning Octoprint would be useful but i just wanted to see if it could be done as simple as possible. Also, its just really neat looking =).
The pegs that mount in Arm-Main are set for models that are 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 inches tall (the max size for my ender) respectively. But the basic concept can be modified for any height with a little trigonometry
Which peg do you use?
It depends on the height of the model. Simply put, if the model is between 5 and 6, put the string on the peg for 6 inches. If it was 5 inches (or really really close but not over ) put the string on the peg for 5 inches. Whatever the size of the model is, if its over the "set" height, just go one up. If you go lower, it will pull the main arm to far towards the end of
