12/5/19 - This has been installed an in use for about a week now. Some things I have decided.Using the smaller SLA-05 relay modules on Amazon, it is extremely difficult to get the 14awg wires from the PSU into terminals on the relay. Anyone pursuing this kind of setup should definitely use the slightly larger module that has larger terminals for the relay side.
The Pi camera cable is still an unsolved item for me at this point. I have it running out the bottom of the case right now, this is not ideal but seems to work okay. I may also add back in a spot for a second buck converter to be used with a 12v Noctua fan, as my upgrade to the Mini E3 has made the fans on this device unbearable.

The left case for the stock Melzi has been stripped down to include just the board mounts as
