Yesterday I produced my first design. Today I woke up, looked at it and realized how stupid it was. This is the vastly improved version of that original idea.
I designed this to relocate the ender screen slightly to the right to allow for more room to level the bed. The footprint of the printer is increased only slightly and this is particularly useful if you have large hands or find yourself leveling the bed very frequently.
This mount uses the stock hardware that is used to mount the screen assembly to the aluminum extrusion. The screws will fit very snug, and I suggest pre-threading the holes with the hardware before installation. You can carefully pry one of the endcaps to cover the old mounting point off of the rear of one of the bottom extrusions with the flathead screwdriver that comes with the Ender.
